  • Manage travel policy adherence, exception requests for domestic and international travel
  • Resolve problems and travel service issues – escalate when necessary
  • Manage and provide technical assistance and support related to the online booking tool (OBT), isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions
  • Educate, communicate, and promote travel policies, keeping travelers aware of new developments and best practices
  • Maintain all travel program landing pages on the company’s intranet site, The Source
  • Influence and partner with other departments (HR, Expense, etc.) to maintain appropriate travel policy and solutions to help facilitate employee satisfaction with program
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers
  • Assist Risk Management with “Duty of Care” responsibility by cross referencing security and incident alerts with traveler tracking software
  • Support Meeting & Events team when required
  • Provide reporting to assist internal teams with travel and expense queries related to travel and/or events
  • Analyze and report on travel spend
  • Become versatile with the ISOS Traveler Tracker program, and assist travelers with Risk assessment for their travel destination
  • Keep abreast with industry changes/challenges and opportunities
  • Resolve moderately complex problems and exercise good judgement

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • At least 3 years experience working in the travel industry or in a corporate travel department 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CTC (Certified Travel Consultant) preferred but not required
  • Proficiency on Sabre GDS preferred
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be detailed oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Multi-tasker
  • Problem solver
  • International Travel experience required
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel & Word)
