Position Summary: Travel Leaders seeks a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our corporate travel sales team. This role is pivotal in driving new revenue by selling our comprehensive travel management solutions to enterprise-level clients across various verticals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly within the travel industry, and excel in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Implement a territory plan to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic selling.
Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to RFP submission, contract negotiation, and closing, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Solution Selling: Develop and present comprehensive travel management solutions, demonstrating ROI and value propositions to prospective clients.
Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within target organizations.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to position Travel Leaders' offerings effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to design and implement tailored travel solutions that meet client needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to Senior Management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Brand Representation: Represent Travel Leaders at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and foster business relationships.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the travel industry or similar sectors. Proven track record in selling complex solutions to enterprise-level organizations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Attributes: A driven, disciplined, and self-motivated team player with a strong understanding of corporate travel management and its challenges.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% to meet with clients and attend industry events.
